Jewelry ⚜️

Avoid water and moisture and take off jewelry before showering, exercising, sleeping. Exposing metals to body oils mixed with chemicals and oxygen will eventually result in tarnishing. Your jewelry should always be the last thing you put on, first thing you take off. It is recommended to wipe your jewelry with a microfiber cloth or polishing cloth per each use.

Store in a cool, dark, dry place. Avoid direct or long term sunlight exposure that may cause color loss.

Car Charms 🪼⋆.ೃ࿔*:･

These are made for your car rear view mirror, or an ornamental decoration for your room. They are not made as jewelry for safety reasons and should not be attempted. Please check your state/country’s driving laws if you are able to hang objects from your mirror! Do not use as bag or phone charm, these are fragile and not made to be swung around clashing other objects.

Hair Accessories ୭ 🧷 ✧ ˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀

Hair clips, claws, and sticks are made to add an accessorized look to your hair. Hair claws should not be attempted or forced to hold large volumes of hair. This will cause pressure to the springs that hold the hair claws in place, as well as be really damaging to your hair.
Never wear when hair is wet, excessively oily, or still damp from products. They’re made from the same materials as jewelry, and are subjected to tarnish if not cared for properly.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Nails 💅🏻🎀🫧🩷

Never remove press on nails by force, this is not only damaging for the press on, but also your natural nail beds. You want to soak your nails in warm water, soap, and oil mixture for about 10-15 minutes for a clean removal. Buff off the residue nail glue on the back with a nail file and store press-ons in a container for use later. Apply cuticle oil as needed. If properly taken care of, they can be reused many times.

Stickers & Decals 💐🌷🌹🌸🌺

All stickers and decals come with instructions on how to apply. Currently, all I sell are vinyl stickers, made to last 3-5 years with proper care. Some are designed for outdoor use, like cars, others are better suited for indoor use, like laptop or flask decor.

Suncatcher Stickers 🌞

Suncatcher stickers are renter friendly, easy to remove, re-applicable, and residue free. Always clean the window before application to ensure a dust free surface. If you are removing and repasting, spray a little water and paste the sticker on a wet surface, then use a card to squeegee out the water. Suncatcher stickers are not sticky, but self adhesive, so a little moisture is all you need to get them to stick.

How to use a Polishing Cloth ⊹ ࣪ ˖🫧🧴✧° ˖

Polishing cloths are usually included in orders if I have any available. Use this cloth to clean your jewelry of any oils or tarnish. Recommended usage is every time you take off your jewelry. Tarnish happens over time when chemical reactions between oils and metal occur. Both sides of the cloth works the same and can be used for a long time. Do not wash.

Combining orders

All orders placed within the same processing time will be combined, unless your order has already been packed.

Please keep your orders under the same email, otherwise the system won't alert me.

Orders made on Etsy cannot be combined with website orders.

Processing Time

Processing times fluctuate but I usually update it on the announcement bar. Keep in mind processing time is not the same as shipping times and the speed of your shipping times depend on your carrier's efficiency, day of the week, and weather conditions.

Made to order items will always take longer to get ready to ship products out asap.

Cancellations/Order Revisions

ALL SALES ARE FINALS. No order cancellations once it has been processed through the system.

In the case of address update/change, please email me at gemsbysidney@gmail.com ASAP. If your order has already been packed, revisions cannot be made! With that said, please make sure to double check your address and notify me ASAP if you see any mistakes.

Lost or Stolen Mail

I am NOT responsible for lost or stolen packages and cannot provide refunds/replacements if your package gets lost. Once packages are dropped off at the post office, I am no longer in control.

By making a purchase, you are agreeing to the risks. It is HIGHLY recommended that you sign up for text updates on USPS.com with your tracking number to monitor its travel, as I am not notified about any updates on your packages.

Returned Mail

If your order is returned back to me, please note that there will be a repayment of shipping fees. Always be sure to double check your address is correct before and after making a purchase. I am required to reconfirm with the customer before shipping out the order again, in case it gets rejected a second time. Please checkout with an email you check regularly!

Customs & Duties

Where applicable, buyer are responsible for paying customs, fees, and other taxes. All international orders are shipped with a customs form. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.

If you have any questions regarding your order please email me only! I am slow to respond to DMs and sometimes they don’t even show for me. I do not answer DMs on Tiktok. Please be sure to give me your order number and photos (if applicable).

Damaged Items

Something arrived damaged? USPS can be rough with their shipping, so that is another reason to always buy insurance.

Please email me ASAP with your order #, pictures and let me know if you had purchased insurance. If the email date is more than 5 business days past the delivery date, then I will assume this was done on accident.

I am not responsible if the damaged is caused by the user, whether by accident. All orders come with a care sheet and a QR code to my online care tips. Please take good care!
